Little Silver Balls

Speaking of silver...I've discovered a new love. Cutting up pieces of scrap silver wire, putting them on the firebrick and heating them with the torch. They wiggle, they jiggle, they start to curl...and ZING! They roll up into perfect little silver balls. Very addicting. Now I just have to figure out what to do with a whole bunch of little silver balls...

  1. You can use the balls as decorations for PMC. Or you could use them inside bezles filled with resin. You could probably even solder them to copper or other silver pieces.

  3. Have you ever considered granulation? Id love to learn it one day. Little silver balls go with everything! Have fun :)

  4. Truthfully? I hardly know anything at all about granulation. I've looked at things on Ganoskin but kind of shied away because I have shaky hands. The three small balls I've set so far were an exercise in shaking the right way at the right time, LOL, but I'd be scared to go any smaller. What I need is a partner! I can do all the fun fire stuff and they can do all the picky stuff.
